Welcome to the Festival We at Pittsburgh Filmmakers are again proud to celebrate the art of motion pictures. This showcase for independent filmmaking is a liberal mix of narrative storytelling, documentaries, international films, short subjects, experimental and regional work. Visiting artists will present their work in the theaters, and in our second annual symposium "Is Film Dead?" Opening night includes a pair of ‘big,’ new films, a local world premiere and a gala party. Closing night features a restored classic with live musical score, so get your tickets soon!
